Sunday Line up

I love Thursdays.....

All I have to do is stay in my nice warm apartment and play with different flavors of cupcakes all day......and then eat them! It's glorious.
So, although I hate to admit it, this weeks line up of cupcakes were inspired by Starbucks. Starbucks can be good for a couple things: since they have 336 stores in Manhattan alone, it's pretty safe to say that if you're ever in desperate need of caffeine or a bathroom, starbucks got your back.
So the other day I was walking around Soho perusing the pastry section of balthazar when my caffeine level dropped dangerously low. I walked into starbucks to get my favorite, shot of espresso and green tea combo, and was completely distracted by their new christmas time holiday flavors: gingerbread cookies, and white chocolate cranberry bars. I thought to myself, these flavors would be so good for cupcakes, I must make them! And voila! Here they are......The Sunday line up.......


-Red Velvet Cupcakes (due to the serious fan base behind this flavor, I'm making it a constant for the rest of the holiday season)

-Gingerbread Cupcakes with a Light Brown Sugar Frosting

-White Chocolate Cranberry Cupcakes with White Chocolate Frosting
