Wedding in the LES

This past weekend I set up cupcakes in one of the most beautiful venues I've seen in awhile. It's completely hidden away on Norfolk St. on the lower east side in a building I've walked by a million times. The entry way is completely unassuming, but once you walk in you feel like you are swept away to a majestic castle......or harry potters dining hall, which ever you prefer. I was told by the owner that this was where Sarah Jessica Parker had her wedding way back when. Pretty cool, no?


As you can see there's more than just cupcakes on the tower. It was a traditional Indian wedding so they had me add some of these yummy looking coconut desserts to the tier. They are common in India, and remind me of little coconut macaroons.
