GLASSNOTE RECORDS HOSTS FIRST POP-UP EMPORIUM DURING CMJ MUSIC MARATHON

WHAT: The independent label will be hosting it’s first ever Pop-Up Emporium, a FREE 2-day event which will consist of a number of local vendors selling their goods, along with Glassnote Records selling CDs and merchandise. The emporium will also include exclusive performances from Glassnote artists The Temper Trap and Mumford & Sons, open to CMJ attendees, music industry professionals, and the public.

WHEN: Emporium open on October 21st and October 22nd, from 12PM – 8PM both days. Mumford & Sons perform on October 21st at 6PM, while The Temper Trap perform on October 22nd at 1PM

Glassnote Records is hosting its first ever Pop-Up Emporium store at The White Rabbit on Houston Street, which is free to the public. Fans and passer-bys can purchase music and merchandise from Glassnote artists such as Phoenix, The Temper Trap, Mumford & Sons, and more. Among the other New York City-based vendors throughout the 2-day event are K is for Katie, Mike Perry, Mean Cards, WrecordsByMonkey, Kumquat Cupcakery, and Brookadelphia. A variety of DJs will be spinning music through the days, but each day’s highlight include intimate and exclusive performances by The Temper Trap (whose single “Sweet Disposition” was featured in the film 500 Days Of Summer) and Mumford & Sons (whose new album is currently in the Top 10 albums on the UK iTunes charts). Throughout the days there will be free coffee, and $4 drink specials from 6-9PM. Customers who spend $100 or more will receive a free Phoenix poster autographed by the band, and those who sign up for Glassnote’s mailing list will be automatically entered to win tickets to see either The Temper Trap or Mumford & Sons at an official CMJ showcase.
