Bacon Throwdown.....

This weekend I went over to my good friend Meghan Petersen's house for some brunch and bloody mary's. I of course brought cupcakes knowing that I would get into trouble if I didn't. My good friend Andy brought bacon just because brunch can't exist without it. After one bloody mary we decided that the best thing to do was to combined these two delicious goodies into one explosion of yumminess. It was truly amazing.....

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake + Bacon

One friend there (we will call her Trudy) informed me of a "bacon throwdown" that will be happening in Williamsburg in the next coming month. Loving bacon and a good competition I'm thinking why not try my skills at a REAL bacon cupcake?! If you Kumquat fans out there have any suggestions for an awesome bacon cupcake recipe let me know! I would love your imput. I'll keep you posted on more of the details of the event as they're handed to me....
