This Mothers Day weekend Kumquat has upped the anty to bring you the cutest darn cupcakes this side of the Hudson River.
I wanted to make something new and fun so I went with a Blueberry Chocolate Cupcake. The blueberries in the chocolate cake made the cake one of the richest, blackest cakes I've ever made. It's aaawwesome, and it's topped with a blueberry cream cheese frosting, and a fresh blueberry.
I wanted to make the Banana Creme Cupcake because it's my mom's favorite cake, and also the one that she had for her wedding.
And last but not least, I made the Red Velvet because it's the first cake I can remember my mom teaching me to make when I was around 4 years old.
Hope you make it to the markets this weekend!
